All Sky Imaging System
The Solmirus All Sky Imaging System M1v is a dedicated purpose visible-spectrum sky imaging and analysis instrument designed to operate autonomously or as a component in an instrument cluster. A ground-based cloud detection and sky analysis system with applications ranging from astronomy to solar forecasting to a wide variety of meteorological applications.
In contrast to the ASIVA, the ASIS is designed with single-purpose production applications in mind. Available in two models: ASIS-M1i (Infrared) and ASIS-M1v (Visible).
Cloud/no-cloud reporting and sky cover percentage using visible-spectrum R/B and G/B ratio analysis across user-defined fields of view.
Photometric quality and sky condition assessment — supporting observatory scheduling, solar forecasting, and meteorological monitoring.
Full raw image archiving for complete post-processing analysis — supporting long-term research and retrospective studies.
