All Sky Imaging System
The Solmirus All Sky Imaging System M1i is a dedicated purpose sky imaging and analysis instrument designed to operate autonomously or as a component in an instrument cluster. A ground-based cloud detection and sky analysis system with applications ranging from astronomy to solar forecasting to a wide variety of meteorological applications.
In contrast to the ASIVA, the ASIS is designed with single-purpose production applications in mind. Available in two models: ASIS-M1i (Infrared) and ASIS-M1v (Visible).
Continuous cloud/no-cloud detection and reporting — day and night, in all weather conditions.
Radiometrically calibrated spectral radiance imagery — the primary data product underpinning all other measurements.
Brightness and color temperature measurements per pixel across the full sky hemisphere.
Sky cover percentage determination and cloud opacity/transmission assessment in user-defined fields of view.
